Hello Pat-

The store is not open. It hasn't been for quite sometime due to Larry's health. Ruth is probably going to open it on rare occassions, but nothing is set as of yet.

If you wish to learn more- please feel free to click through and follow the postings on Facebook. You DON'T have to join Facebook to view all the notes and photos.

Thanks for the note. : )

To Whom It May Concern:

Is the sluice box still open for buisness? I had heard that it wasn't.
To Larry:
Thanks for being such a great person. May you rest in peace and enjoy yourself in heaven.

This is a great web site!
Looking at all the pic's sure takes me back. I can never go to Idaho City, that I don't go by the Sluice Box and check it out.
Larry & Ruth sure put a lot of effort and creativity into it. There's not another place like it anywhere.
